Finger Painting Flowers for Little Artists 🌸

This is a super fun activity for our tiniest artists! No pencils, no rules — just fingers, paint, and lots of giggles. Perfect for ages 2-5!

🖍️ What You'll Need

• Washable paint (pink, yellow, green, red — any bright colors!)
• Thick paper or cardstock
• A paper plate (to hold the paint)
• Wet wipes for clean fingers after!

Step-by-Step Fun

Step 1: Set Up Your Paint

Squeeze small dabs of different colored paint onto a paper plate. Grown-ups, this is a great time to put down a towel or newspaper too!

Step 2: Make Petal Prints

Dip one finger into a color and gently press it onto the paper in a circle shape. Do this 5-6 times close together to make a flower with petals!

Step 3: Add a Center

Dip a different finger into yellow or orange paint and press it right in the middle of your petal circle. That's the center of your flower!

Step 4: Draw a Stem and Leaves

Use a green-painted finger to drag a line down from the flower for the stem. Add two little finger-print leaves on the sides.

Step 5: Make a Garden!

Repeat the steps to make lots of flowers all over your paper. The more the merrier!
